The Oulton-Stanish Centre

Construction of the Oulton-Stanish Centre is well underway with plans to open at the end of 2025!

This brand-new, 60,000-square-foot facility on Dalhousie’s Studley Campus will be a dynamic and inclusive space for Dalhousie students, faculty and staff, and for the greater Halifax community. The Oulton-Stanish Centre will offer a fresh facility for ice sports and serve as an on-campus wellness hub.

A home for Tigers of all stripes

You can be a part of this exciting new addition to our campus by purchasing a seat or a group of seats in the Oulton-Stanish Centre (just under 1000 seats available). All seats purchased will include an inscription of your choice—it’s a great way to honour yourself, a loved one, or a group or organization.

Take a virtual tour of the Oulton-Stanish Centre!

Construction of the much-anticipated Oulton-Stanish Centre is rolling along with a targeted opening at the end of 2025.

Athletes of all ages can develop their skills and have fun on the Centre’s new NHL-size ice surface. With seating for 900+ spectators, fans of the Dalhousie Tigers men’s and women’s varsity hockey teams can enjoy every second of the action. Dedicated ice time for recreation programs and the return of our Tiger hockey camps and public skates will provide the community with more options to stay active. The Oulton-Stanish Centre will also provide a larger, state-of-the-art home for the Dalhousie Physiotherapy Clinic. The clinic will provide access to more services, specialized care, and hands-on learning opportunities that will support our students and community members.
