Dalhousie鈥檚 Student Accommodation Policy was last updated and approved in 2019. In keeping with best practice, ensuring the Policy is appropriately aligned with other Dalhousie policies and reflective of our current context, the Senate Learning & Teaching Committee (SLTC) approved the Terms of Reference for a review.

The Policy seeks to inform our institutional response to student accommodation requests and subsequent implementation, establish student rights and responsibilities when engaging accommodation processes, and reflect a broader institutional commitment to accessibility.

As part of our consultation process, faculty are invited to provide feedback on their understanding of, and experience with, the Policy through a survey accessed via the following link:
